Hey Bill, I apologize for not responding sooner. I was on the road and without internet access. Anyways, if you go to the "Categories" (in the upper right corner of this page) and select "Podcast Entries" you'll find all the Podcast's that are available. Also, the "older Entries" link at the bottom left of each page will take you to previous episodes. I hope this helps, and good luck.

Thanks Nathan, I do appreciate you taking time to call the listener feed-back line at 740-396-8235. To anybody wishing to express themselves, leave feed-back, or just comment, you too can call 740-396-8235. I am proud that my little pod casts have helped so many in passing the CDL exam.

Sorry Sam, No CD's for sale here. I use my MP3 player and run that through my truck radio. Glad to help in any way, and good luck with the exam. Update us when you pass.

Of course there are going to be poorly ran companies closing their doors for good. Does this really have an impact on the number of jobs available? Of course not. In fact, due to many companies having far more empty trucks available than drivers to fill these positions, it should be surprising to see a few more followin suit.

The closing of one or more of these fat cows has no impact what so ever on new hires getting into the business. But what after that?

Does anyone actually consider where they want their professional driving career to go? This is something that newbies may want to consider. If just driving for some fat trucking company, and making them rich is your goal, then knock yourself out.

On the other hand, if you are looking to make a real paycheck then you might want to consider training yourself to get a position at the top of the professional driving food chain.

Driving for the stars, whether it be a tour bus or a tour truck hauling the equipment; if you consider yourself to be a cut above the norm, then this is where you need to aim your sites, and we can show you how.

Here is a piece of free advice. If you have no experience, get some. If you already have some OTR miles under your belt, consider going into familiar territory first. Get started in the trucking side and if it is all that it seems to be, then start possitioning yourself to make a move into the tour busing side; this is where the real money and perks are.

The point here is; keep your head focused on where you are going, not where you don't want to go. This is not only true for driving your vehicle, but for the direction of you career as well. There are way too many people looking at the wall they don't want to hit, and then wonder why they hit it; aka the unemployment line. Don't be one of these guys. put your attention on where you are heading, and steer in that direction.

I hope you find this information useful, and best of luck to you in your new career.
